Here at Reformer Vans we aim to help all our customers reach their full exploring potential with a VW campervan conversion done to a high standard with quality products and thoroughness.
We have designed our conversions with safety as a priority and the practicalities of everyday life to give our customer the comfort and peace of mind needed when travelling.
Alongside conversions we also make camping Pods. These are removable, practical, mini kitchens -perfect for kombi and day van conversions.
There’s nothing better than having the facilities to make a good old cup of tea whether you are at the beach, or your Satnav has made you take a wrong turn.
Safety is a priority here at Reformer Vans that’s why we only use beds that have been M1 pull or crash tested and the roofs we use are M1 status tested and verified.
All vehicles will be habitation tested before sale and we issue manufacture certificates with each sale. So you peace of mind with all our vehicles.

FAQ’s

How do I pick between a SWB or a LWB?

A LWB will obviously give you more space however, SWB Vans fit into most car parking spaces and you’ll be able to use it on a daily basis like a car.

Who does your conversions?

We do – at our workshop based in Leicestershire.

Do the Camper Vans come with certificates?

Yes they do – we issue certificates for the bed, roof and for the habitation test which covers gas, electrical and fire safety testing.

Do the Camper Vans have a water supply?

Yes they do – each conversion has a 20L water tank built in.

What is the length of the Camper Van?

SWB = 4.8 metres, LWB = 5.2 metres.

How long does the battery last?

There are many factors to take into consideration however, we would typically expect the battery to last between 15-20 hours.

How tall is it with the roof down?

2.1 metres in height.

How long will it take to convert a van?

This is dependent on timescales for companies we outsource our products from. It will also depend on our workload at the time.

What gas bottle is required?

907 Campingaz.

What is the head height when the roof is up?

At the highest point the roof is around 7 foot.

    Warranty

    All work undertaken by us for the vehicle conversion will be covered for 12 months.
    Any damage that is deemed to be a result of misuse will be void.
    The mechanical warranty we offer is 3 months – some of the vehicles we sell will still be under manufacturer’s warranty.
